We had a great trip to New York, visiting with family and celebrating my niece's confirmation.
The ceremony was quite nice and the bishop actually took time to speak with each confirmation-ee (? I'm not sure what they are called) individually. Here are Kate and my dad speaking with the bishop.

Zander did pretty well for the first 20 minutes of the mass, then he starting trying to tell the priest that he was "all done." Jason took him out for a walk. Aww, the little guy passed out in the middle of having a snack.

I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the trip, a testament to how much I was relaxing and enjoying myself. It was a great weekend with fantastic food and family time. I hope we can do it again sometime soon.
